- How do I hear about new leads?
- The moment a homeowner completes intake, you get a text and an email with the blinded preview, damage type, urgency, insurance status, and price. Open it, claim it, and the homeowner's contact is yours instantly. First pro to claim wins; everyone else is released.
- How much does it cost?
- $0 to join. $0 monthly. Your first claimed lead is free. After that every lead is the same flat $499, no severity tiers, no surge pricing. Your card is charged at the moment you claim, so there's nothing to pay up front, but a valid card has to be on file before leads start arriving. See the full pricing page for details.
- What if a lead turns out to be bad?
- You have 48 hours after claiming to report a problem. Five objective reasons, wrong or disconnected number, outside your service area, no actual loss, a duplicate of a lead you already received, or a homeowner already under contract elsewhere, approve immediately. Anything else goes to a person to review. The resolution is account credit applied to your next claim rather than a cash refund, and credits are capped over any rolling 30 days.
- Why can't I get on insurance preferred-vendor lists?
- Those programs are built around national franchise relationships and large-scale business development, a door that stays closed to most independent operators, no matter how good your work is. FastDry is the lead channel built for independents: it puts you in front of homeowners at the moment of the emergency, no franchise required.
- How are you different from Angi or HomeAdvisor?
- Shared-lead platforms sell the same homeowner to multiple contractors, you race to call first and often lose. FastDry dispatches one qualified homeowner to one vetted crew. First pro to claim wins the job; everyone else is released. No bidding wars. No shared contact info.
- What does 'exclusive' mean?
- A lead goes out to every eligible pro at once, but only one can claim it. The first to claim gets the homeowner's contact exclusively and everyone else is released. Until then you see a blinded preview, damage, urgency, insurance, price, and decide whether to claim.
- How do leads work? How do I get paid?
- FastDry connects you with homeowners who need restoration now. You quote and bill the homeowner (or their insurer) directly, we're the dispatch layer, not the GC. You receive lead previews in your dashboard, claim the jobs you want, and work them on your terms.
- Is there a contract?
- No. No annual commitment, no minimum spend after your free lead. You're only charged when you claim a lead, and you can pause leads when you're at capacity. Leave anytime.
